Description

The Kenwood NX-3220E redefines mid-tier business communications by packaging high-tier multi-protocol infrastructure into a rugged, ergonomic handset. The radio features a Multi-Protocol Configuration that enables it to operate seamlessly in NXDN Conventional/Trunking, DMR Tier II Conventional, and standard Analog FM modes. This means a single radio can scan and automatically decode digital and analogue signals concurrently, allowing legacy fleets and modern digital fleets to interact flawlessly.

Equipped with an integrated Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) system, a built-in GPS positioning engine, and wireless Bluetooth connectivity, the NX-3220E ensures absolute voice intelligibility and operator situational awareness under the most extreme field conditions.

Multi-Protocol Digital & Analogue Operation Supports NXDN digital, DMR Tier II conventional digital and analogue FM communication modes. Mixed-mode operation enables the radio to recognise compatible incoming digital or analogue signals, providing flexibility when transitioning between communication systems. Available protocols depend on configuration and licensing.
Advanced Digital Noise Cancellation Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and noise suppression technology help reduce disruptive background noise by up to a stated 30 dB, improving voice clarity in demanding environments such as industrial facilities, construction sites and transport operations.
IP67 Environmental Protection Rugged construction provides IP67-rated protection against dust ingress and temporary water immersion under specified test conditions. Selected variants may offer IP68 protection, subject to model specifications.
Worker Safety & Motion Detection Integrated motion sensing supports configurable Man Down, Lone Worker, stationary and motion detection alerts. These functions can assist organisations in monitoring personnel working alone or in potentially hazardous environments.
GPS & Bluetooth Connectivity Optional or model-dependent GPS functionality supports automatic vehicle or personnel location reporting through compatible tracking systems. Bluetooth connectivity enables the use of supported wireless audio accessories and compatible data applications.

LCD Display & 4-Key Model Features a 14-character, 4-line alphanumeric LCD display and four front-panel function keys. Supports expanded channel configurations of up to 512 channels, organised into programmable zones.
Full Keypad & LCD Model Combines an alphanumeric LCD display with a full DTMF keypad for compatible dialling, selective calling and programmable communication functions. Suitable for users requiring additional on-device controls and advanced operational flexibility.
