Icom IC-M330GE

Description

The Icom IC-M330GE redefines helm communications by packaging full Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) infrastructure into a chassis that fits into the palm of your hand. Measuring a mere 156.5 mm in width and 66.5 mm in height, its ultra-compact footprint allows it to be flush-mounted easily into crowded dashboards, overhead consoles, or small center consoles where panel space is at a premium.

Featuring a completely redesigned user interface centered around a high-contrast dot-matrix display, soft keys, and a directional pad, it provides highly intuitive operation under rough sea conditions. Backed by a full 25 watts of transmit power and an integrated GPS engine, the IC-M330GE ensures your vessel remains securely connected to nearby mariners, ports, and coastal emergency response networks.

Features

KEY MARINE & SAFETY FEATURES
Integrated GPS Receiver Built-in GPS receiver provides vessel position, date and time information for navigation and emergency communications. The GE variant includes an external GPS antenna with a connecting cable to improve satellite reception where the radio is installed in a location with limited GPS signal coverage.
Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) Integrated Class D DSC functionality includes a dedicated receiver for continuous monitoring of Channel 70. A protected distress button enables the transmission of a digital distress alert containing vessel identification and available GPS position information to compatible DSC receiving stations.
Intuitive Marine User Interface High-contrast dot-matrix LCD with white backlighting, directional keypad and programmable soft keys provides convenient access to channel selection, GPS information, DSC functions and operating settings.
AquaQuake™ Water Draining Icom’s AquaQuake water draining function generates a low-frequency vibration through the speaker to help expel water trapped in the speaker grille, improving audio clarity after exposure to rain, spray or splashing water.
High-Sensitivity Receiver Sensitive receiver design, with a stated typical sensitivity of 0.22 μV at 12 dB SINAD, supports reliable reception of weaker marine VHF signals under suitable operating conditions.
Multiple Scanning & Watch Modes Supports Priority Scan, Memory Scan, Dualwatch and Tri-watch functions. Allows operators to monitor selected working channels while maintaining awareness of activity on emergency and calling Channel 16.
