Description

The Kirisun TM840 features a rugged, heavy-duty design constructed around a rigid aluminum die-cast chassis built to survive extreme cockpit vibrations, shocks, and dust ingress. Its front panel is centered around a clear 1.8-inch high-resolution color TFT display alongside four customizable hardware buttons and a tactile navigation pad.
Running on standard 2-slot TDMA DMR technology, the radio is available in standard configurations or as the TM840(G) variant, which incorporates a high-sensitivity internal GPS positioning engine for real-time fleet mapping and automatic vehicle location tracking (AVL). Pumping out up to 45 watts of transmit power (UHF), the TM840 guarantees reliable long-range signal propagation across expansive operational footprints.

ADVANCED OPERATIONAL FEATURES
1.8-Inch Colour TFT Display Bright 1.8-inch colour TFT display with an intuitive graphical interface provides clear access to channel information, caller identification, contact lists, text messages and operational alerts.
Mixed Analogue & Digital Operation Supports both analogue FM and DMR digital communication. Mixed-mode operation allows the radio to detect and receive compatible analogue or digital signals on appropriately configured channels, simplifying migration from analogue to digital radio systems.
TDMA Dual-Slot Direct Mode Supports two-slot Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) technology, enabling two independent digital communication paths within a single 12.5 kHz channel. Dual-slot direct-mode operation can increase communication capacity without a repeater where supported and correctly configured.
Remote Stun, Kill & Revive Supports remote radio management commands that allow authorised operators to disable lost, stolen or compromised radios. Compatible units can be reactivated using supported Revive functions, depending on system configuration and command type.
Emergency & Lone Worker Safety Provides programmable emergency functions and Lone Worker safety timers to support personnel working independently. Additional capabilities include digital text messaging of up to 256 characters and supported MDC 1200 analogue signalling functions.
Digital Voice Privacy & Encryption Supports digital voice privacy and configurable encryption features to help protect business communications. Available security levels depend on the radio’s firmware, licensing and system configuration.
