Hytera PD785 / PD785G (Discontinued)

Description

DISCONTINUED

The Hytera PD785 and PD785G are legendary, high-tier conventional Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) handheld transceivers that served as the primary communication backbone for public safety, security forces, and industrial enterprises globally. Celebrated for their prominent central speaker layout, tactile design, and robust encryption capabilities, these radios were trusted in high-stakes environments for over a decade.

Important Life-cycle Notice: The Hytera PD785 and PD785G have been officially discontinued (End of Life) worldwide. This strategic retirement was executed to phase out aging internal hardware components and ease the fleet migration path to Hytera’s next-generation, high-performance H-Series platform.

Features

KEY LEGACY FEATURES
2.0-Inch Colour Display Features a bright 2.0-inch full-colour display with multilingual menu navigation, text messaging functionality and clear channel and zone information for convenient radio operation.
Analogue & Digital Auto-Detect Supports both analogue and digital communications with automatic mode detection on compatible configured channels. Enables organisations to transition gradually from analogue to digital radio systems while maintaining communication with existing equipment.
Dual-Slot TDMA Technology Uses two-slot Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) technology to support two independent communication paths within a single 12.5 kHz frequency channel when operating through compatible infrastructure. Improves spectrum efficiency and increases communication capacity without requiring additional frequency channels.
Advanced Digital Signalling Supports Private Call, Group Call and All Call functionality, together with text messaging of up to 256 characters and compatible digital data transmission services. Provides flexible communication options for individual users, teams and larger radio fleets.
Lone Worker & GPS Tracking (PD785G) The PD785G variant includes integrated GPS positioning for location monitoring through compatible dispatch systems.
