The Hytera PD485 balances rugged industrial durability with a highly accessible, user-friendly interface. Constructed around an injection-molded polymer frame that meets severe military testing benchmarks, it features an intuitive menu system that handles complex operations without cluttering the user experience.
The transceiver is available in two configurations: the standard model and the PD485(G), which incorporates a high-accuracy, built-in GPS module for real-time fleet mapping, along with an integrated Bluetooth module for wireless audio connectivity. Running on standard 2-slot TDMA DMR technology, the PD485 ensures crisp digital voice projection all the way to the very edge of your cell’s coverage footprint.

High-Contrast OLED Display Bright monochrome OLED display provides clear visibility of caller information, text messages, selected channels, zones and battery status in various lighting conditions.
Full Alphanumeric Keypad Integrated alphanumeric keypad supports direct DTMF dialling, text messaging, menu navigation and convenient access to programmable radio functions across up to 256 channels.
Analogue & Digital Mixed Mode Supports conventional analogue and digital DMR communications. Compatible mixed-mode operation automatically recognises incoming analogue or digital transmissions on configured channels, making the radio suitable for organisations transitioning to digital communications.
Dual-Slot TDMA Technology Supports 2-slot TDMA digital technology, enabling two independent communication paths within a single 12.5 kHz frequency channel in compatible direct-mode configurations, improving spectrum efficiency without requiring a repeater.
GPS & Bluetooth (PD485G) The PD485G variant supports integrated GPS positioning for compatible personnel tracking and dispatch applications. Bluetooth connectivity enables pairing with supported wireless audio accessories for convenient hands-free communication.
Advanced Safety & Remote Management Supports emergency alerts, Lone Worker functionality and compatible over-the-air management commands, including Radio Check, Remote Monitor and Radio Stun/Kill, subject to system configuration and authorised access.
