The Icom IC-M92D is engineered to provide an uncompromising lifeline for boaters, bluewater sailors, and ocean-going professionals. Featuring an integrated high-sensitivity GPS module, this radio continuously tracks your coordinates, allowing for comprehensive navigation logging, waypoint routing, and instant position reporting. True to Icom’s safety-first design philosophy, the IC-M92D features an inherently buoyant chassis—if knocked overboard, it will float face-up back to the surface. Upon hitting the water, it activates its integrated Float’n Flash technology, emitting a bright, flashing LED distress strobe to allow for rapid retrieval even in pitch-black storm conditions.

ADVANCED SAFETY & NAVIGATION FEATURES
Integrated GPS Receiver & Compass Built-in 50-channel GPS receiver provides accurate positioning and supports a dedicated compass navigation display. Allows users to navigate towards stored waypoints while monitoring speed over ground (SOG) and course over ground (COG).
Built-In Class D DSC Dedicated Class D Digital Selective Calling receiver continuously monitors Channel 70. A protected distress button enables emergency DSC alerts with GPS position information when the radio is correctly configured with an MMSI number.
Active Noise Cancelling Technology Bidirectional digital noise cancellation reduces background interference by up to 90%, helping improve voice clarity during transmission and reception in environments affected by engine noise, wind and waves.
Float’n Flash Visibility Strobe Floating construction helps prevent the radio from sinking if accidentally dropped into water. An automatic flashing red LED activates when the radio enters water, helping users locate and retrieve it, even when the radio is switched off.
AquaQuake Water Draining Function Uses low-frequency sound vibrations to help remove water trapped around the speaker grille, restoring clearer audio after exposure to rain, spray or temporary immersion.
Dualwatch & Tri-watch Monitoring Supports Dualwatch and Tri-watch functions for monitoring marine safety Channel 16 alongside selected working and calling channels, helping users stay aware of important communications.
