The Motorola MOTOTRBO DM1400 is a professional-grade, rugged analog/digital mobile two-way radio designed for reliable vehicle-mounted or desktop base station configurations. Engineered as an incredibly durable and straightforward communication solution, it keeps mobile workforces safely connected in sectors like logistics, transport fleets, taxi services, and heavy industrial operations.

The primary difference between the DM1400 and its sibling model (the DM1600) is its interface: the DM1400 strips away the multi-line alphanumeric screen in favour of a simple, high-impact 2-digit LED channel display, making it highly distraction-free for drivers. It is available as a full Analogue/Digital model or as an Analogue-only unit that can be easily upgraded to digital via a simple software license key when your fleet is ready to transition.

2-Digit LED Display Bright, easy-to-read two-digit numerical display shows the selected channel at a glance. Its straightforward design helps operators identify channels quickly while working in vehicles or demanding environments.
Dual Capacity Direct Mode Uses 2-slot TDMA DMR technology to support two independent communication paths on a single 12.5 kHz frequency without requiring a repeater. This can improve channel capacity and communication efficiency in compatible digital radio networks.
Transmit Interrupt (Decode Only) Supports compatible transmit interrupt signalling, allowing authorised priority or emergency communications to take precedence over an ongoing transmission when configured within a supported system.
Voice Announcement System Provides audible announcements for supported channel and operating selections, allowing users to confirm radio settings without constantly checking the display.
Radio Management Integration Compatible with supported Motorola MOTOTRBO Radio Management tools for centralised fleet configuration, consistent programming and efficient deployment of radio settings across multiple units.
