Both radios feature elite receiver sensitivity, military-grade hardware encryption, and advanced life-safety sensors to ensure a constant communication lifeline during high-stress tactical operations.The defining difference between the two models is their interface layout: the MTP3500 features a simple, limited keypad optimized for rapid channel and menu navigation while wearing thick tactical gloves, whereas the MTP3550 introduces a full alphanumeric keypad for direct phone-style dialing, complex text messaging, and quick status-code entries.
