Motorola MOTOTRBO SLR8000 Repeater

Description

The Motorola SLR8000 repeater is engineered for high-reliability, 24/7 continuous duty at maximum output power without compromise. terIts advanced internal design features exceptional receiver sensitivity and robust noise-blocking filters, allowing it to capture and clarify weak signals from handheld units operating at the extreme boundaries of its cell radius. To dramatically reduce site infrastructure costs, the SLR8000 is built with a highly flexible internal architecture that supports true “one-box” multi-module expansions—such as integrated internal duplexers, antenna switches, and wireline cards—allowing multiple systems to live in a single server cabinet.

Features

ADVANCED INFRASTRUCTURE & OPERATING FEATURES
100W Continuous-Duty Performance Designed for continuous-duty operation at up to 100W RF output, depending on the frequency variant and configuration. Remote Diagnostics and Control (RDAC) tools provide monitoring of operating parameters, including temperature, supply voltage and antenna VSWR, helping maintain reliable repeater performance.
Space-Efficient 2U Rack Design Compact 2U rack-mountable chassis integrates the power supply, processing electronics and RF amplification components. Designed for efficient installation in equipment racks, with no additional vertical rack space required above or below the unit when installed according to manufacturer specifications.
Analogue, Digital & Trunking Support Supports MOTOTRBO digital communication and conventional analogue operation, with compatibility for supported conventional and trunked radio systems, including Capacity Max and Connect Plus where applicable. Operating capabilities depend on system architecture, licensing and configuration.
Automatic Battery Backup Supports automatic transition from AC mains power to a compatible 12V or 24V DC backup battery supply during power interruptions. An integrated battery charging function supports suitable backup power installations, helping maintain essential radio communications during outages.
Modular Expansion Options Supports optional expansion modules, including internal preselector, antenna relay and wireline interface options. These enable additional installation, dispatch integration and remote-control capabilities according to system requirements.
Local Diagnostics & Maintenance Front-panel service features include an integrated speaker, volume controls, microphone connection and USB maintenance interface. These provide convenient access for local diagnostics, configuration and troubleshooting by authorised technicians.
