Description

The SFE Smart PTT SE650 is a highly efficient, compact Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) network radio designed to eliminate range limitations. Operating on standard public cellular infrastructures (2G/3G/4G LTE) via a SIM card, it acts like a traditional walkie-talkie but offers nationwide or cross-border coverage without needing expensive repeaters or fixed base tower setups. It is heavily deployed in South Africa and across Africa for security patrols, logistics fleets, remote farming operations, and open-cast mining environments where traditional radio links fail.

Real-Time GPS Fleet Tracking Built-in GPS positioning supports compatible cloud-based fleet tracking, allowing authorised dispatchers to monitor radio locations, review movement history and use features such as geofencing and patrol-route monitoring through supported management platforms.
Emergency SOS Button A dedicated emergency button provides rapid access to compatible SOS functions. When activated, the system can send a priority emergency alert and associated location information to designated users or compatible dispatch software.
Voice Recording Compatible PTT platforms support recording of incoming and outgoing communications, providing a centralised communication history for operational, security and incident-review purposes.
