The Kenwood NX-3000 Series is a premium, mid-tier line of professional digital portable two-way radios designed to offer high-performance multi-protocol flexibility. Built to support both NXDN and DMR digital protocols out of the box (as well as legacy analog), this series allows enterprise fleets, security teams, and utilities to choose their preferred digital standard without changing hardware platforms.

The NX-3000 series is split into two primary band designations:
• NX-3200: Covering the VHF band (136–174 MHz).
• NX-3300: Covering the UHF band (400–470 MHz / 450–520 MHz).

PHYSICAL INTERFACE OPTIONS
Standard Non-Display Model Streamlined, non-display and non-keypad configuration designed for straightforward push-to-talk communication. Features a top-mounted 16-position rotary channel selector for convenient operation in demanding working environments.
LCD Display & 4-Key Model Features a 4-line, 14-character alphanumeric LCD display with four front-panel function keys. Provides convenient access to channel information, radio settings and programmable functions, with support for up to 512 channels.
Full Keypad & LCD Model Combines an alphanumeric LCD display with a full physical DTMF keypad for direct dialling, supported messaging functions, menu navigation and convenient access to advanced radio features.
ADVANCED ENGINEERING & OPERATIONAL FEATURES
Multi-Protocol Compatibility Supports NXDN digital, DMR digital and conventional analogue communication modes. Compatible mixed-mode operation allows the radio to recognise supported incoming signal types, providing flexibility for organisations operating mixed radio fleets or transitioning to digital systems.
Advanced Noise Cancellation Digital signal processing and noise reduction technology help minimise unwanted background noise, improving voice clarity in industrial, transport and other noisy operating environments. Noise reduction performance depends on operating conditions and configuration.
Integrated GPS & Bluetooth Supports GPS location tracking for compatible dispatch and personnel management applications, together with Bluetooth connectivity for supported wireless audio accessories and data functions. Availability depends on the specific model and configuration.
Intelligent Safety Monitoring Supports Man Down detection, Lone Worker monitoring and motion-related alerts in compatible configurations. These features help improve personnel safety by triggering emergency notifications when predefined conditions are detected.
Remote Programming & Encryption Management Supports compatible remote radio management functions, including over-the-air programming and encryption key management where available. These capabilities can simplify fleet administration and help protect sensitive communications.
IP67 Environmental Protection Rugged IP67-rated construction provides protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes under specified test conditions. Suitable for demanding outdoor and industrial applications.
