The Hytera PDC680 Dual-Mode Rugged Radio is a premium, convergent communications handset that bridges the gap between mission-critical narrowband PMR and broadband smartphone technologies. Designed to eliminate the need for carrying both a two-way radio and a rugged smartphone, it packs dedicated digital trunked voice and an open Android ecosystem into a single device. This allows first responders, public safety agencies, and industrial operators to handle secure tactical voice loops while simultaneously leveraging HD video streaming, database access, and advanced positioning over public 4G/LTE networks.
