Hytera BN100 HyTalk PMR Gateway

Description

The new Hytera BN100 HyTalk PMR Gateway is a cost-effective narrowband and broadband interconnection solution that includes a voice gateway box. It works with an MNC360 PoC mobile radio and an HM785 digital mobile radio, which need to be purchased separately. It can seamlessly connect narrowband radios and broadband radios and is designed to interwork with public networks while enabling narrowband radios to communicate with each other anywhere. Simple but intuitive, this solution is easy to deploy and use, providing reliable, enhanced, cost-effective connectivity for industries such as commercial businesses, public safety, transportation, utilities and more.

Hardware Components:

The BN100 itself is the gateway box and requires two specific mobile radios (sold separately) to function:
  1. HM785: An analog/digital mobile radio responsible for the narrowband (PMR/DMR) side.
  2. MNC360: A PoC mobile radio that provides broadband connectivity via LTE.

Features

  • Interconnection: Connects classic radio systems with LTE networks, enabling unified group communication across different technologies.
  • Extended Reach: Leverages public cellular networks to interconnect PMR networks in different regions without needing expensive additional ground infrastructure.
  • Low Latency: Supports a “back-to-back” connection between a PMR mobile radio and a PoC mobile radio to reduce audio delay and accelerate transmission.
  • Portable Design: The gateway is housed in a rugged, compact box with an ergonomic top handle for easy transport.
