  • Dual-mode (analog/digital): Supports DMR Tier II digital and conventional FM analog modes. The repeaters can operate in a mixed-mode, automatically detecting the incoming signal type and switching modes, which allows for a flexible migration path from older analog systems.
  • Increased capacity: Uses DMR’s two-slot TDMA technology, which effectively doubles the capacity of a 12.5 kHz channel and improves spectrum efficiency.
  • High power output:
    • TKR-D710 (VHF): Up to 50W output power at 50% duty cycle, and 25W at 100% duty cycle.
    • TKR-D810 (UHF): Up to 40W output power at 50% duty cycle, and 25W at 100% duty cycle.
  • Conventional IP network: With an optional network interface unit (KTI-5), multiple repeaters can be linked over a TCP/IP network to create a wide-area communication system.
