The Kirisun DM588 Digital Mobile Radio is a rugged, compact, dashboard-mounted vehicular transceiver engineered to assist businesses transitioning from legacy analog setups to modern digital infrastructure. Equipped with a bright, full-color display and a high-power output, it easily operates as a mobile base station inside logistics trucks, taxis, public buses, and emergency response fleets.
| Analogue & Digital Mixed Mode | Supports analogue, digital and mixed-mode operation. In Mixed Mode, the radio can recognise compatible incoming analogue or digital signals, helping organisations transition from existing analogue systems to DMR digital communications. |
| DMR TDMA Two-Slot Operation | DMR TDMA technology supports two time slots on a compatible 12.5 kHz digital channel, allowing two independent communication paths to operate within the same channel allocation where supported by the system configuration. |
| Digital Voice Encryption | Supports ARC 40-bit encryption for enhanced communication privacy, with additional encryption options available depending on radio configuration, software and licensing. |
| Analogue Signalling Support | Supports commonly used analogue signalling systems including MDC1200, DTMF, 2-Tone and 5-Tone, helping the radio integrate with compatible existing analogue communication systems. |
| IP Multi-Site Roaming | Supports compatible IP-connected multi-site radio systems, allowing mobile users to move between coverage areas while maintaining access to the configured radio network. Automatic roaming capabilities depend on system programming and infrastructure. |
| Text Messaging | Supports digital text messaging between compatible DMR radios and supported dispatch systems for convenient non-voice communication. |
| Emergency Call & Alerts | Configurable emergency functions allow users to generate alerts or emergency calls across compatible radio and dispatch systems when required. |
| Remote Radio Management | Supports compatible over-the-air radio management functions such as Radio Disable and Radio Enable, helping authorised administrators manage radios within the fleet. |
| Remote Monitoring | Supports configurable remote monitoring functionality within compatible DMR systems, subject to system programming, permissions and applicable organisational policies. |
| Optional GPS Positioning | Compatible variants can support integrated GPS positioning, allowing vehicle location information to be transmitted to supported dispatch and fleet-management platforms for tracking and coordination. |
