SFE SE800D Multi-Mode Two-Way Radio

Description

The SFE SE800D is an advanced, hybrid Multi-Mode Dual-Standby handheld transceiver that combines broadband Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (PoC) with traditional narrowband Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) and conventional analogue communication.
Featuring dual antennas, dual standby, and dual PTT buttons, this radio bridges the gap between local point-to-point airwaves and nationwide cellular networks, making it a powerful tool for South African security teams, large-scale logistics fleets, and industrial operations.

Features

Four Versatile Working Modes Supports four operating configurations: Dual Work Mode for simultaneous network operation, PoC Network Mode, DMR/Analogue RF Mode, and Repeater/Gateway Mode for flexible communication across different environments.
Cross-Network Gateway Bridge Built-in gateway functionality can link local analogue or DMR radio communications with wide-area PoC cellular networks. Compatible configurations can also be used to bridge UHF and VHF radio traffic, extending communication between otherwise separate systems.
Dual Standby & Dual PTT Separate physical PTT controls provide quick access to local RF and PoC communications, allowing users to transmit on the required network without navigating through multiple menus.
Wide-Area PoC Coverage Uses compatible cellular data networks to provide Push-to-Talk over Cellular communication across cities, provinces and potentially international locations wherever supported mobile data coverage and platform connectivity are available.
GPS Tracking & Visual Dispatching Integrated GPS works with the REAL-PTT management platform to provide compatible dispatcher systems with real-time radio locations and historical route information via computer or smartphone.
1.8-inch Colour Display The high-contrast colour display provides useful operating information including user aliases and group information in PoC mode, as well as channel names, signal indicators and frequency information in RF mode.
Voice Recording & Communication Logs Supports voice recording and communication logging through the associated platform, allowing authorised fleet managers to review previous transmissions for operational records, incident investigation and communication verification.
SOS Emergency Alert A dedicated physical emergency button enables users to send a priority distress alert to the dispatcher platform. When supported and configured, GPS location information can accompany the alert to assist controllers in identifying the user’s location.
