The Hytera MD785 and MD785G are iconic, professional-grade digital mobile two-way radios that served as the primary communication hubs for public safety, transportation fleets, utility networks, and emergency dispatch centers globally. Celebrated for their large, high-resolution color displays and multi-functional navigation pads, these radios were trusted to maintain secure, wide-area mobile and desktop base station links for over a decade.

Important Lifecycle Notice: The Hytera MD785 and MD785G have been officially discontinued (End of Life) worldwide. This strategic retirement was executed to phase out aging internal electronic components and ease the fleet migration path to Hytera’s next-generation, high-performance H-Series mobile platform.

The direct, recommended successor is the ultra-modern Hytera HM785.

GPS Vehicle Tracking (MD785G) The MD785G variant incorporates GPS positioning functionality, enabling vehicle location information to be transmitted to compatible dispatch and fleet tracking software.
