Kenwood NX-5700 NEXEDGE Digital Mobile Two-Way Radio

Description

The Kenwood NX-5700 redefines versatility in mobile vehicular and base station configurations. Operating in the VHF band, this ultra-rugged transceiver features a unique multi-protocol architecture that enables it to support traditional analog, NXDN (both conventional and Type-C trunking), and P25 (Phase 1 and Phase 2) protocols. This allows public safety agencies and commercial fleets to manage diverse communications or execute multi-agency interoperability seamlessly without purchasing separate hardware units. Equipped with a bright, full-color TFT display, built-in GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, and advanced digital noise cancellation, the NX-5700 ensures absolute voice clarity and operational situational awareness under the most extreme field conditions.

Features

ADVANCED ENGINEERING & OPERATING FEATURES
Multi-Protocol Operational Versatility Supports NXDN digital, P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 digital, and conventional analogue operation. Automatic detection of supported digital and analogue signals allows flexible communication across mixed radio fleets and network environments, subject to system compatibility.
Flexible Multi-Control Head Configurations Supports remote control heads, dual control heads for vehicles requiring multiple operating positions, and configurations where a single control head manages multiple RF decks across VHF, UHF and 700/800 MHz frequency bands.
High-Resolution Colour TFT Display Features a bright, 2.55-inch colour TFT display designed for excellent visibility in daylight and varying vehicle lighting conditions. Provides intuitive menus, clear icons, subscriber identification and operating status information.
Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Combines advanced digital voice processing with dual-microphone Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology to reduce background interference from engines, sirens, wind and other operational noise, improving voice clarity in demanding environments.
Integrated GPS & Bluetooth Integrated GPS supports vehicle location tracking, fleet mapping and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) applications when connected to compatible systems. Bluetooth connectivity enables pairing with supported wireless audio accessories and compatible programming or management tools.
Mission-Critical Data Encryption Supports DES encryption, with AES encryption available through applicable licensing and encryption key configurations. Helps protect sensitive voice communications in security, emergency response and other mission-critical applications.
